It seems so sad to have kept up with posting the Bible readings every day over here right up until the end of NOVEMBER, only to suddenly disappear completely for the entire month of December.
Who finishes 11/12th's of a job only to leave the last 1/12th undone?
I do, apparently. ha ha.
I am sorry if this inconvenienced any of you, and I am also sorry that discussion here these last few months has been slow. I dropped the Bible Reading ball a couple (few?) months ago and never picked it back up again, and for that I apologize. To you AND to me.
I do plan to finish this reading track, picking up right where I left off in this New Year, and I am excited to finish what I began so wholeheartedly at the beginning of 2010.
Mostly, I'd just like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to all of you who participated in this project with me. You are all inspiring and lovely, and if you didn't quite make it through the year like me, don't feel discouraged! I'd encourage you to keep right on going from where you left off as well, because with God, every day is new and there is no deadline! And His Word is life, no matter how you chop it up!
Happy New Year to you all, and thank you again for all you've contributed here over the last twelve months. God bless you!

I'm way behind but I don't actually feel that bad. To be honest, I have been wondering how I would redirect my daily time with God when this is over and I'm kinda relieved to have at least a month or two more to figure it out. Thanks for getting this going, Emery. I can honestly say I wouldn't have read (most of) the bible this year if it weren't for you and your initiative and I bet a lot of the other people here are in the same boat.
I moved somewhere without internet and broke up with the boyfriend who'd text the daily readings to me but whatever we go through, isn't God still so faithful and always so available to us? i get blown away. regularly.....
I wish I had found this blog sooner. This is a great initiative:-) Thank you and God bless.
