Tonight Em and I spent a few hours in the E.R. waiting room with our youngest boy. I found myself drifting into day dreams about Jesus walking through and healing every sickness and ailment. Casting out demons and speaking healing over whom ever asked for it. How badly I wanted to walk around and pray for others, but somehow my mind convinced me, "that would not be very socially acceptable now would it?" So I sad and wondered what it would be like to experience such miracles as found in Mark 1.
Myer is doing much better. He is still really congested and his poor little cough sounds miserable...but his breathing is good and he has not had a fever for the last two days. I think we are on the upswing. Thanks be to God.

I LOVE this:
"So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God." - Gen 45:8
Ah, the beauty of hindsight... when we realize that our "terrible detours" were actually the straightest path to our destinies.
Emery & Chris-- how's your little guy doing since this night at the ER?
