How have I never heard this story in Numbers before? I love how Moses handles the situation... "When Moses heard this, he fell on his face" (16:4). It seems that his general response to every problem is to immediately fall down and pray to God.
I don't think it is the point of the passage but when Lazarus come out of the grave and he has help with the removing of the grave clothes I just lose it. Even with this miracle there is still the community of supportive believers (following Gods commands) there to bring him further into life. Beautiful.
This is the first time in the old testament that it has struck me to feel sympathy for Moses. Wow, what a crazy life he led. So blessed and such a responsibility for it all.
