how crazy is it that all the 'ceremony' that was required to know and honor God were torn away in the very moment that Jesus died on the cross? It makes me SO GRATEFUL for Jesus when I read Exodus.
The picture of the veil being ripped in half in the Temple as Jesus took His last breath is always in the forefront of my mind as I read about all the Old Testament ceremonies and rituals that had to be performed just so God could BE with us and and we wouldn't die from the sight of Him.
I'm just in awe. And completely flattened by gratitude.
